Re: finding some of the ingredients -
It would be good to carry a list of staples so you can look for them any time you are out - even some Targets have hard to find ingredients sometimes. I ended up ordering nutritional yeast and a ravioli stamp on Amazon. So that's another solution. Luckily once you find most staples you only need a little so it will last a long time. The same kroger that had millet last week had none this week.
I am very excited to try to make raviolis! I am also going to make “SILKY ROASTED BELL PEPPER PASTA WITH ZUCCHINI AND BASIL RIBBONS”
With my Vegetti!!! If you don't have one- you need it!
Couscous and Caesar salad is also on the menu this week and I found my favorite hydroponic lettuce from Circle A farms at the farmers market today. Their romaine will make you fall in love with lettuce all over again.
Speaking of falling in love - best on screen romance of the year, maybe decade, goes to Bradley Copper and
Michael Ian Black in Wet Hot American Summer first day of camp on Netflix. I am always disappointed with couples on screen and I'm never convinced they are in love besides Pam and Jim on the office and Westley and Buttercup, oh and Jesse and Celine in Before Sunrise. Now add these guys to that list. Maybe #1.
Other recommendations - the new Lays chip flavors - I think Reuben is the best this year. Best new podcast: Mystery Show. Heavy metal band to check out: Dragonforce. Band to revisit: ABBA. swim stroke to appreciate again- Breast stroke. Thing to look forward to: September issue of Vogue and Jason and Me turning 35 in a few weeks- we are running for president ( me - president of wedding Wednesday : where it is acceptable to wear your wedding dress all year every Wednesday bc it's crazy how much money we spend on the most beautiful dress ever that only gets worn once- it needs to be out on the town! Would you keep a Monet in the closet??) maybe I'll make beautiful Frou Frou bedding out of it if Wedding Wednesday fails...sounds like a challenge for Project Runway!
Which I think I will go catch up on now!
