Sweet Corn and Green Chili Baked Flautas and Mid Summer Salsa (Kacie)


From the book: "If you don't know what flautas are, then grab your lunch box because we're taking your ass to school." Mwahahahahaha..that's pretty funny.

And these are super tasty. Look at my little flauta army:


So my picture isn't pretty, but these were great. The crispiness is such a fun thing.

I would make these again for sure. Easy, tasty, and relatively healthy (I will try whole wheat tortillas next time).

Oh, and the salsa is yummy and simple. I agree with Sparkles that it's just pico de gallo, so nothing new, but still tasty. I didn't chop--I just threw everything into the food processor and let it do the work. George says that the salsas are the best things I've made from the cookbook.
